While 'Gryningsvisor' was more of a traditional atmospheric/ambient black metal album. 'After the storm' ventures away, off the beaten path, and proceeds to distance itself from some of the more traditional elements that are usually prominent in metal music. Even though 'After the storm' can best be described as a mix between post-rock, acoustic, pop and traditional Swedish folk music, we will argue that the spirit of metal and our roots are still prominent and can be heard throughout the album.
